Jivanni Shah, DVM

Dr. Shah always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian - a goal that began when she started kindergarten. After spending seven years abroad, Dr. Shah spent eight years in College Station attending Texas A&M University. She received both her undergraduate and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degrees from Texas A&M. Dr. Shah joined the Katy Area Medical Group in June of 2019. 

Growing up, Dr. Shah was the neighborhood pet sitter in her hometown of Sugar Land. Despite her allergies to cats and dogs, she always loved caring for animals. Thankfully, she grew out of her allergies prior to starting veterinary school at Texas A&M and is now living out her dream of serving her four-legged patients as a veterinarian! 

When Dr. Shah is not at the clinic caring for her patients, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Pepper, trivia nights, reading, puzzles, and playing and watching sports. 

Dr. Shah is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
